Welcome to Covenant Life School. Originally founded as a small church school in 1979, Covenant Life has since grown into a respected independent Christian college preparatory academy. Over these past 40 years, we’ve built a school established on the truth of Scripture. J-Term at Covenant Life School
For the past 3 years, our school has integrated a J-term as part of our curriculum. J-term is a time we set aside to accomplish a variety of vital goals that will launch our school forward in learning and growth. J-Term brings 32 deep-dive specialty classes, 2 retreats, 1 international mission trip to the Dominican Rep, 12 field trips, and a week of internships to the upper school students.

Covenant Life School has been a super great experience for me as a high schooler. I feel that it has greatly equipped me for college, and my peers are kind and intelligent. The teachers work very hard to make sure each and every student not only understands the material but also excels in their interests and in academics. I would like to see the school hire a professional calculus teacher, as I took calculus in my senior year with an unqualified teacher who has a math degree but not a teaching degree. Additionally, I would like to see the administration improve at releasing information regarding students and events more promptly, and as the student body president, I would like to see the student government taking a more active role in the school’s decision making versus just running events. However, my experience at CLS has been very positive; I love the school!
My experience with Covenant Life School (CLS) has been positive. As a small Christian educational environment, CLS has delivered on its promise to mix strong academics with Biblical values. Within CLS, there is a strong sense of community which permeates the school's atmosphere. This community played a significant role in my education, providing me with a solid academic, social, and spiritual foundation. Additionally, I liked the emphasis on character and service projects. CLS encourages students to excel academically and to cultivate virtues such as kindness, compassion, and integrity. However, there are areas where CLS could improve. While the school offers a strong academic program, there aren’t as many communities such as clubs and other organizations (except sports) within the school that provide students with other ways of building community in ways that would not have occurred otherwise. Overall, CLS is a place where children can grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
I grew up going to CLS and now we send both of our kids. The school has made huge improvements since I attended and we have been so happy with the results. Our kids love going to school. There is a wonderful sense of community. The teachers and staff show a tremendous amount of care and love for the students.
They uphold and instill important values into our kids and we are so grateful for the partnership we have with them in helping to raise our kids. We are also incredibly grateful for the parent involvement. It truly takes a village to raise children and we couldn't be more grateful to be a part of this village!
