Founded in 2004, Chicago Math and Science Academy is Where Excellence Thrives. We are a charter public school that serves 600 students across grades 6-12. Chicago Math and Science Academy provides its students with an equitable, high-quality education focused on in math, engineering, science and technology (STEM) which changes the trajectory of our students' lives. Our goal is for students to become bold inquirers, problem solvers and ethical leaders who are skill-ready for post-secondary education to meet the challenges of a competitive global workforce.

The staff at Chicago Math and Science Academy actually care about their students. They let them know about programs, clubs, activities, scholarships, and they give juniors college readiness classes to focus on ACT and SAT. They also give seniors a mandatory class that will help them with everything during the college process.
Academically, CMSA is a pretty good school. The resources you will be provided with are not extensive, but they are there and will get the job done for when you need to cram for any AP or standardized exams. The teachers are also excellent and will be understanding in any of your situations, so you shouldn't feel afraid if you need extensions or extra help on work. I highly recommend building strong connections with your teachers if you plan on attending CMSA for high school. The school itself is small so there isn't much space for amenities or clubs, but the sport pride is very strong.
Hello I’m Mubaraq I have been going to this school since 6th grade now I’m a senior, about to graduate this school taught me so much I learned a lot from sports from people from classes from teachers from everyone. I also learned how to be better at myself and what I do are used to get in trouble a lot like every day now I stay out of trouble I’m more betterand this school is a good school if you want to go to middle school and high school because you can learn a lot of good. They have good education they’re good for kids. They have good sports but it’s not they have good administrator. Some teachers are not the best, but did they’re trying and I think I should win this 1000 because I really need it for my college. That will help me in so many ways I don’t have to pay for much and I could put the money into the school I’m going to cause I don’t wanna get alone. I’m trying my best to get a scholarship and I haven’t gotten any and I think this will help me i and so many ways I think thx
