California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley Reviews
The school community gave him a safe place to just be himself, and for that I am eternally grateful. High school can be brutal for kids who are gender non-conforming or otherwise "different" -- CSArts allowed him to thrive and graduate with his enthusiasm, quirks, and immensely caring, beautiful heart still in tact. Hallelujah!
The most important thing for our family in choosing CSArts was the challenging academic program. Even with a tremendous arts conservatory, more traditional academic subjects were NOT compromised. Lots of honors and AP options! Our very talented "theater kid" is off to study STEM at a highly rated research university that will let him keep up his arts training -- a phenomenal result.
I'm learned more about the possibility and interconnectedness of art than I would anywhere else, and in the process, I learned more about myself as a person and bonded with others who share a passion and a knack for the arts. I love how all of us are brought together and connected through art, and how we're able to cross paths with people we would never have found otherwise.
