The Schools of Public Engagement offers graduate, professional, and nontraditional undergraduate students a variety of programs that connect theory to real-world practice, training students to study social ecologies, create new forms of culture, and respond to contemporary challenges around the world. Whether you're studying at the Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment; the School of Media Studies; the Julien J. The value I received was critical to my growth as a writer. The New School gives out so much financial scholarships, and it really helped me decide to attend a Master's program. My program also allowed me to take an extra course (or two half credit courses) and audit a language class all without additional cost to tuition. I am learning Chinese and I am taking a voice lesson opera class which would normally be very costly outside of school.
In my experience, The new school program in International Affairs has allowed me to grow as a professional in terms of knowledge and my capacity to understand world problems from different perspectives. it also allowed me to meet many intellectual people inside of this field such as my professors and classmates from all around the globe.
I think more than a university it has become a home for many international students like me, which are miles away from their countries.
If you are looking for a school with a different view of the world The New School is for you, since it offers a variety of programs like the International Field Program in Cuba, which I'm currently doing. It is an excellent experience for those who want to get experience in research or monitoring and evaluation.
