I benefitted greatly from attending Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Stony Brook. The faculty members are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, always going above and beyond to ensure I had the resources needed to succeed. The curriculum is well-structured and comprehensive, providing a solid foundation in primary care for adult and geriatric populations.
The clinical experiences offered through this program are invaluable, allowing students to apply their learning in real-world settings and gain practical skills under the guidance of experienced preceptors. The program also emphasizes critical thinking and evidence-based practice, preparing students to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. There I developed strong communication skills and learned to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Overall, I felt well-prepared and confident in my abilities thanks to the excellent education I received.

I truly enjoy Stony Brook University's Higher Education Administration Program. I feel connected to the faculty and staff despite being completely online. I feel that I can always find a resource to answer my questions whether it is related to financial aid, advisement, or academics. I feel like I am a part of a great community. I would recommend the program to anyone who is looking to further their education.
