Fordham University Reviews
Rating 4.35 out of 5 65 reviews
Fordham University offers a prestigious Master of Social Work (MSW) program that is highly reputable in the field of social work. As one of the top-ranked programs in the country, Fordham’s MSW program provides students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for successful careers in social work.
One of the key strengths of Fordham’s MSW program is its focus on evidence-based practice and research-informed interventions. Students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess community needs, develop effective intervention strategies, and evaluate the outcomes of their work. This emphasis on research and evidence-based practice ensures that graduates are well-prepared to address the complex social issues facing today’s society.

I am currently enrolled in Fordham's Graduate Social Work program. I'm excited to start classes this September. So far my application and enrollment process has been great. While applying for a master's degree is expected to come with stress, my advisor and student success counselor made the whole process easier.
The admin team seems to be more concerned about the money than the actual students. There is little to no financial help to students, specially master´s students. If you are an international student even worse. Classes are good, professors are the best but sometimes that enough to compensate.
