I really love the city of Austin! The "weirdness" of Austin jumps out at you in the best way. The countless times I've gone to the groovy thrift stores or south Congress Ave with friends have been some of the best moments of my young life. The culture at UT is one of a kind as well. I feel that every person attending college feels a certain amount of pride in their school, like its a part of their identity almost. With UT its that and then some. Being from Maryland, experiencing the lone star state has been otherworldly. The pride in Texans and in the school is like no other, and it has certainly rubbed of on me. Though I am only a sophomore I am a Longhorn though and through! On top of the great city, the larger than life students, the sports and the like, UT is an academic institution first. Classes can be tough, and you feel it. Having to juggle social life with the grueling curriculum is something I had to work very hard for and still haven't quite got the hang of yet.
I enjoy the learning experience; since I've started, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my courses, and the teachers have the knowledge and expertise that are required to be used. As students seek new employment.
Before I began, I researched similar programs to the one I am currently enrolled in and decided that I would like to work for an institution that offered the program with classes, both face-to-face and hybrid.
I like how the classes are career-oriented, especially because each session allows you to learn and research on the industry you want to pursue after the degree.Don't believe things need to change.

This University provided a welcoming environment to allow my academics to flourish while being challenged in the classroom. The culture of UT Austin is extraordinary with a limitless number of organizations to join and scenes of sports life that connect the student body sharing a united spirit. The diversity of the school being centered in a big city allows for demographics to mesh and connect as well as the geographic diversity to allow for so many varying fun activities, never leaving a weekend dull. The professors engage the classroom with intriguing material while being rigorous to allow the mind to be pushed. Along with this, many academic resources are provided by the school and additionally by the generous discretion of the professors that have allowed me to maintain the knowledge and have extra assistance always available when needed. The overall experience of this school made college everything I dreamed of and an easy transition.
