I loved it! My major was biochemistry, and I had the greatest time in classes in labs, etc. I also was super appreciative of the alumni network USC provides students with, as it allowed me to use connections I made in the classroom to get jobs outside, like lab work or other. Football games and student life was awesome. Advising was super good, especially as a student looking to go to grad school. The only things I wasn't crazy about were the low diversity, and the unsafe area. USC did what it can to make the area safer with campus police and all, but there's still a pretty high crime rate compared to the rest of LA.
I absolutely love the University of Southern California! Besides the amazing weather, USC is a diverse and supportive environment with tons of school spirit. With so many schools and majors to choose from, academically, you are surrounded by so many talented and intelligent students with various aspirations. I appreciate that USC encourages interdisciplinary studies. As a joint major between the Marshall School of Business and School of Cinematic Arts, I've met likeminded individuals and have got plenty of opportunities to be involved in relevant organizations and get support on internships and my career. The Trojan Network is real.
Words fail to describe the experiences you’ll have at USC. You’ll quickly realize what a great decision you made and you’ll be grateful you put in all the hard work to get there. The best way to describe it is it feels like you’re making memories all the time…unique experiences, endless opportunities, invaluable connections…USC is world class. It makes sense that USC has so many grad students. Trojans keep going back for more. Fight on!
