Each year, around 9,590 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 870 students obtain an associate degree in Spanish language and literature. In 2021, 8,737 students received a bachelor's degree and 1,007 students received an associate degree. This is 6% fewer Spanish language and literature majors than there were in 2020. Spanish language and literature is one of the most popular majors within foreign languages.
