How popular is general religious studies as a major?

Each year, around 4,080 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 740 students obtain an associate degree in general religious studies. In 2021, 3,524 students received a bachelor's degree and 786 students received an associate degree. This is relatively the same number of general religious studies majors as there were in 2020.
