An advice I would give is start studying anatomy ahead of time and if you could start looking at scans
Work hard, keep up good grades, work in healthcare while in school to gain experience, and be involved in school activities.
Do your research and find a program that best fits your current and future needs.
You must be very organized and have a strong support system. Once you are accepted into the program, you will have a large workload of reading of new subjects. Also, get sleep, eat well, and exercise. Your health must be well in order to study a lot. Accept that the two years you will not be able to do the things you want as much such as hobbies or going out with friends because of the studying you will be doing. If you have a job, you may need to cut your hours a lot, your studies will take over a lot of your time. If you have children, you need to have your partner help you alot with watching the children, also hire a babysitter or have family help you, so you can study a lot. Once you're close to graduating, you will be taught these same classes as a review. So the information will be repetitive, which is a great thing. The professors are very helpful and will not sugarcoat what you need to expect. They will overprepare you, which is a great thing. Great luck to you.
