Don't just do it based off of the money, but because you are passionate about biology and want to dive deeper into the sciences behind it. I haven't completed my studies and just decided to change my major, however I know I am in good standing with it. It's a good major for those who want to pursue something within the medical field, without being too social.
I would recommend for them to try working in the field first to see if it is truly a field they are interested in and also to practice good time-management skills to balance exams, social lives, and extracurriculars.
Try your absolute best and try not to worry as much. Life can through some curveballs at you but you have to face them and push through. It may seem difficult now but will very much be worth it at the end. Just have faith in yourself and get the help needed from those around you. Nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it.
