This program prepares participants in both creative and technical capacities to depict emotions, ideas or concepts in either two or three dimensions, through simultaneous use of materials and media. Specific instruction varies from digital art, ceramics, painting or drawing, among others.

How popular is multimedia as a major?
Each year, around 1,020 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 40 students obtain an associate degree in multimedia. In 2021, 718 students received a bachelor's degree and 56 students received an associate degree. This is 4% fewer multimedia majors than there were in 2020. Multimedia is a relatively popular major compared to other art majors.
