Each year, around 2,380 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 350 students obtain an associate degree in middle school education. In 2021, 2,324 students received a bachelor's degree and 350 students received an associate degree. This is 2% fewer middle school education majors than there were in 2020. Middle school education is one of the most popular majors within education.

Do not give up. The classes may get overwhelming at some points, but it is very rewarding in the end.
My advice would be to gain positive relationships with your professors. They are very helpful and can give a lot of great advice when it comes to teaching middle level education! Also, be as hands-on as possible during your clinical experiences to gain comfort in the classroom.
Do not stress when you don’t understand the subject. Ask the teacher questions because they have been in the same situation so they will help you.
Keep up with homework/reading. What you’re doing now does matter, so do your best and don’t push it aside.
