This curriculum trains students to manage international businesses and/or business operations. Course topics include the principles and processes of export sales, trade controls, foreign operations and related problems, monetary issues, international business policy, and applications to doing business in specific countries and markets.

Those in the top 10 percent make over $190,000 a year, while the bottom 10 percent make under $25,700 a year. While salary ranges can vary by role, industry, and location, international business graduates typically make between $45,000 and $120,000 per year.

How popular is international business as a major?

Each year, around 6,580 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 210 students obtain an associate degree in international business. In 2021, 6,418 students received a bachelor's degree and 141 students received an associate degree. This is 3% fewer international business majors than there were in 2020. International business is one of the most popular majors within business and management.
