Advice from Hispanic American studies majors
Share your experienceThe advice I would give to the students of Hispanic American Studies is that if you really want this career, fight for it and never give up, since it always opens up complications that sometimes makes us feel that things are getting more difficult by the day, however, it is important to remember that the most difficult things are the ones that bring the most attributes in the future. I would tell them that if they are going to study this, it is why they love the culture, they are attracted to it and why they want to make a change for the future so that more and more people learn about it and can admire it the way we do. That they learn to value what is around them and that they always fight for what they want no matter that sometimes it becomes something impossible to achieve, the good things they were looking for and a reward for all those things. Nights when they felt like they couldn’t take it anymore, but nevertheless managed to pull themselves through on their own.
