Do what you believe is best for you! A major aspect that factored into my decision is my desire to help people, especially in difficult situations and times such as a funeral service. It took me quite a long time to decide what I wanted to go to school for, but after my Psychology of Death class and the opportunity to learn about a funeral home behind the scenes, I decided it was right for me. The field trip was informational and inspiring, despite it being sad. I am eager to continue working toward graduating with a Bachelor’s in Mortuary Science so I can further my career. My best advice would be to follow your heart and explore all of your options! College is a wonderful place and should never be taken for granted. There are so many opportunities available and I could not be happier to have chosen the University of Michigan - Flint to further my education. Best of luck to all still deciding what they want to do with their lives. It’s tough, but you got this!
