In 2021, 267 students received a bachelor's degree and 1,953 students received an associate degree. This is 6% fewer fire science and firefighting majors than there were in 2020. Don't give up and give it everything you have. It won't be easy, but it is well worth it! Right now is a great time to get hired because a lot of departments are in need of new firefighters.
