How popular is creative writing as a major?

Each year, around 3,280 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 100 students obtain an associate degree in creative writing. In 2021, 3,331 students received a bachelor's degree and 109 students received an associate degree. This is 2% more creative writing majors than there were in 2020. Creative writing is one of the most popular majors within English.
