How popular is computer programming as a major?

Some advice I would give to students in computer programming is, take the time to practice coding and learn the important subjects within programming outside of college
Ask for help from classmates and professors. Read your textbooks and use YouTube. I found so many helpful tutorials on how to program apps and do certain things for projects that my teachers handy gone over in great depth.
Do not be afraid of making friends with others that are in the same subject as you. They can help out and give you a higher chance of being employed into a well paid company.
