Business analytics is a program that prepares individuals to apply data science to solve business challenges. It includes instruction in machine learning, optimization methods, computer algorithms, probability and stochastic models, information economics, logistics, strategy, consumer behavior, marketing, and visual analytics.

Each year, around 320 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and fewer than 5 students obtain an associate degree in business analytics. In 2021, 394 students received a bachelor's degree and fewer than 5 students received an associate degree. This is 57% more business analytics majors than there were in 2020. Business analytics is a relatively popular major compared to other math majors.
