This study path prepares participants to use learned skill sets and apply them to the management of aviation industry operations and services. Courses concentrate on: airport operations, ground traffic direction, ground support and flightline operations, passenger and cargo operations, flight safety and security operations, aviation industry regulation, and related business aspects of managing aviation enterprises.

Each year, around 900 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 240 students obtain an associate degree in aviation management and operations. In 2021, 1,034 students received a bachelor's degree and 239 students received an associate degree. This is 13% more aviation management and operations majors than there were in 2020.
