Each year, around 920 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 70 students obtain an associate degree in arts, entertainment, and media management. In 2021, 1,052 students received a bachelor's degree and 57 students received an associate degree. This is 2% fewer arts, entertainment, and media management majors than there were in 2020. Arts, entertainment, and media management is one of the most popular majors within arts management.

Share your experienceI'd say that if you are interested in this field you should look to start building out your portfolio as soon as possible. This is the marker that sets you apart when approaching media and entertainment companies and professionals. I would also advise to collaborate and use your network as much as possible as to help engage as many audiences as possible. And the last thing I would advise, is to be passionate, approach this field with dedication and an open mind, and by doing so you will be met with limitless possibilities.
Make sure to keep a schedule of when projects are due for what class and when. That way you always know what projects are upcoming or next and you don't risk a project sneaking up on you and having it rushed. Always to open to professors critiques as, well it may be scary to have something be pointed out as a flaw, they're only doing it so you can focus on what to improve on and become a better artist. It was scary for me first time around, but I've grown to see it as tips for improvement and it really did help my art in the long run.
Try to be as creative as possible. Don’t limit yourself to being perfect. Use less reference photos, take more risks, stop comparing, and enjoy your work while you’re working on it.
My advice is to network, gain practical experience, and stay updated on industry trends.
