How popular is arts as a major?
Each year, around 11,100 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 2,660 students obtain an associate degree in arts. In 2021, 10,168 students received a bachelor's degree and 3,071 students received an associate degree. This is 5% fewer arts majors than there were in 2020. Arts is one of the most popular majors within art.

Share your experienceListen to your professors, they can be really nice or they can be really irritated. That depends on your attitude towards learning and engaging.
Never let projects rules stop you from exploring your skills. You can always make a project that both encapsulates yourself while completing the necessary requirements. As long as you are creating work that you know you will be proud of, it makes the assignments worth the time and effort and also lessens the stress.
Find and go after what you enjoy about the arts.
Make sure to push to get art classes early because they can be difficult to get into and trying to fit 2 or 3 into your schedule when you're behind is hard
