How popular is apparel and textile science as a major?

Each year, around 2,540 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 310 students obtain an associate degree in apparel and textile science. In 2021, 2,565 students received a bachelor's degree and 298 students received an associate degree. This is 2% fewer apparel and textile science majors than there were in 2020. Apparel and textile science is one of the most popular majors within trades and personal services.
