Those in the top 10 percent make over $140,000 a year, while the bottom 10 percent make under $22,000 a year. How popular is agriculture as a major?
Each year, around 3,040 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 920 students obtain an associate degree in agriculture. In 2021, 3,046 students received a bachelor's degree and 970 students received an associate degree. This is relatively the same number of agriculture majors as there were in 2020. Share your experienceThe prereqs will be a little challenging, but as long as you stick to it, you will be starting those agricultural classes and it will be easy from there. Ag professors tend to be very lenient and carefree as long as you dowhat youre supposed to and communicate well.

Put yourself out there in the world and try to network with diverse individuals. This will present you will plenty of different kinds of opportunities and allow you to find what it is you really want to do in the agriculture industry. Attending conferences and webinars is the best way to hone your skills to become a more competent professional in any industry, especially agriculture.
Agriculture is very rewarding. It’s a pretty broad major but you can get a job pretty much anywhere with this degree.
