Study hard and focus.
As I haven't completed any Aeronautical or Aviation-related college courses I can't be sure but I think perseverance is important but also passion. If you are passionate about what you do then you won't ever feel like you have to work. Since I'm still in high school I can't really give anyone any advice since I probably am the one who needs advice. But overall just keep trying and working towards what you want.
