Texas A&M University Reviews
Rating 4.07 out of 5 7,900 reviews
This was a great school to attend! There were so many traditions to participate in and the people that you met were so friendly. Academics were great too, the professors are easy to work with and they come with so much knowledge to pass on to their students. I was attending school when Covid occurred and instead of giving up, my program professors and the university adapted to the change and turned everything to online and still continued to teach great things. I was in the special education program, where our program thrives on live human interaction. So when covid hit, my program worked hard to arrange online zoom meetings and calls so that we would get our experience and interactions with the students.
My overall experience at Texas A&M was fantastic! The campus is huge but there are so many organizations you can join to get connected with other students and campus life. The professors are mostly super helpful and accommodating with your situation/needs and offer tutoring and office hours to help if you are falling behind in a course. The athletics here are intense and definitely a unique experience so I would recommend attending games. The culture at A&M in unreal with so many traditions so be sure to dive right into it, get involved, and embrace it.
Studying Visualization at Texas A&M University has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. The program offers a perfect balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, allowing me to develop a strong foundation in visual communication and design for 3D animation and game dev fields. The faculty members have typically been in the field at some point, and they encourage us to think about our audiences and not just ourselves. The university's emphasis on technology and innovation has provided me with valuable skills in digital media, animation, and interactive design. I've also had the opportunity to collaborate with talented peers on various projects, which have broadened my horizons to other art styles and techniques. Overall, my journey as a Visualization major at Texas A&M University has been both challenging and rewarding, and I feel I will be well-prepared to pursue a career in the field of animation when I finish my senior year.
