Freshman: In my almost three quarters studying here, I love the environment and how everyone is doing their own business. I am a part of a program called Puente and I love it! I think it made me have a better experience in college because I get to be a part of an incredible environment and program. Our professors and counselor in that program has made the work, workable! Freshman: I feel like this is a good opportunity to go back to College at Central Louisiana College. I am in interested in the H-vac and refrigeration degree. The professor seems to be knowledgeable and nice. This is a Technical degree which can help me get a good paying job after I graduate and it's hands on and not just not all classroom. I will be able to live at home, work part time and still pursue this degree with out the added price of living on a campus. Hopefully this degree will open up endless job opportunities not only within my state of Louisiana but also, out of state jobs if I wish. I like the idea of being able to go to a Technical college without the big college price. For the town of Alexandria there isn't alot to offer as far as job opportunities with out some sort of degree. I want to be able to work part time in the H-vac while I attend school. Junior: My overall experience with Pasadena City College (PCC) has improved since I started attending. The counselors are helpful and help you organize an Education Plan to help follow a timeline to transfer or get an AA degree. Most of the teachers are responsive and willing to listen. The career center helped me improve my resume and provided tips on finding a job. There are lots of clubs for pretty much any kind of interest that you might have. I have been able to find clubs that include community outreach like feeding homeless, cleaning the beach, political action, fun campus events, and have made lots of new friends. Before I got a car I had to rely on public transportation, which was pretty easy to take. The metro line is a 10 minute walk or a free shuttle that can take you to a few stops. One drawback is that the swimming pool has been under construction since I started. It would be great to take a swim class during the summer. Overall, PCC has been a positive school experience.... Freshman: I like how the teachers help when you need the help. They are doing well. The campus feels like a university. It doesn't feel like a regular community college. They greet you nicely. They make sure that you know where to go on campus. They give you a tour of the campus. If you have a question, they make sure to answer you right away and they make sure you have all the information that you need. They even have events to make sure you get all your classes. They even have a promising program. They offer scholarships. They make sure you are debt-free. The staff at this school cares about the college students. The program offers money in return for the books. In that program, they also provide a computer for your classes. The school wants to make sure you have the best college experience. Sophomore: I really enjoy WITCC. I am a member of PTK and a police science commity. I also have maintainted a 4.0 GPA. My classes are a ton of fun besides the amount of homework that we get for each class. In my classes I have learned how to take a fingerprint, dust for fingerprints and gain knowledge about how to de-esculate stuations I will encouter as a police officer. I wish that all the classes were not so spread out from each other though because then I would be able to work more and get homework done faster instead of staying up really late to get it done. 10/10 overall. Sophomore: In fall of 2024, I will be starting my second year at Ohio State ATI and i can say my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The student life office is cozy and welcoming and Kelly, who is in charge of student life always goes above and beyond to make student life at ATI fun and enjoyable. The professors are kind and are willing to answer any questions that I may have about the course or my major in general. The housing at ATI is incredible, I lived in a two story apartment last year and I loved it. The apartments feel welcoming and they are very comfy for being college apartments. I would definitely recommend Ohio State ATOI to anyone who is interested in agriculture or a two year program. Freshman: Panola is a nice, small-town bounded but pleasant college in a decently priced area and has a lot going on in it for a small-town location. I like the people who go here and mostly refer to the professors. There are also many people here who take their studies seriously, and this motivates me to try hard. All the teachers I have had act professionally. I also enjoy the gym and other dedicated small buildings for meetings and such that they are ready to be used. I would like to see expansion, as there are a lot of people wanting to come, but it is underway. I would also like to see them be able to have more quantitative/mathematical classes, they have a sort of lackluster roster for those. Other than that, it's a super nice college. I love it here!...
