Purdue is a fantastic institution that offers more opportunities in every single category once could consider a career in. I have several topics of interest, ranging from business intelligence to global peace, conflict, and resolution relating to the defense sector of our U.S. government. Purdue offers a wide range of classes, majors, and minors that allow me to be engulfed in all of the above! Not only is the Hoosier state of Indiana aware of Purdue's reputation, but the entire world is aware of Purdue reputation. This image is not only understood by international students, but by international allies to the US. The current advancements Purdue is achieving in not only the schools of education, but on a domestic and global technological advancement standpoint, is noteworthy.
Although Purdue and the city of West Lafayette is strict with "Party Life", it is a point that holds their underlying ivy-league status. It is a bipartisan institution that is provides for their students.

My experience at Purdue University has been enriching and rewarding. The academic environment is challenging and engaging, with many opportunities to get involved in research and projects. I have enjoyed the supportive community of students and faculty who are always ready to help each other. The campus facilities, including the libraries and recreational centers, add to student life.
I appreciate the focus on hands-on learning and real-world applications, which has greatly improved my understanding of mechanical engineering. The variety of student organizations and activities means there's always something to do, promoting personal growth and community involvement.
There is room to improve mental health resources and support services for students. More opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration would also enhance the learning experience. Overall, Purdue University has given me a strong foundation for my future, and I look forward to seeing it continue to grow and improve.

Academically challenging school that heavily focuses on STEM majors. If you are in liberal arts, there is a nice community but it is small and not nearly as funded as the STEM programs. Campus is walkable filled with nice community spaces and plenty of libraries, cafes, and rooms to study and meet with classmates. A lot of school spirit centered around the athletics. Most people live off campus starting second year. The apartments in Chauncey Square are an excellent location and close to night life spots and restaurants. Campus is very diverse and there are many opportunities to join clubs and student groups. Purdue is only 1 or 2 hours away from two different international airports, and shuttle busses run nearly everyday between those airports and Purdue campus, making travel easier for international or out of state students. Boiler up!
