Joined during COVID-19, so access to campus was very limited during the first two undergraduate years. Once in person lectures/labs became mandatory it became easier to adjust to being part of the university community and student body. The university had a relatively small student body (most classes would have between 20-30 students), which made it easier to connect with peers and get more individualized attention from professors, which was especially helpful when seeking out recommendation letters and opportunities outside the classroom. That being said, Nova Southeastern's higher administrative command could improve by being more transparent with students in circumstances such as closures/cancellations and things of the like. More than this however, housing appears to be a big issue as the university seeks to admit more students than they can currently place in dorms.
Attending NSU was an enriching and transformative experience that exceeded my expectations on every level. From the moment I stepped onto campus, I was greeted with warmth and inclusivity, setting the tone for the incredible journey ahead.
The faculty at NSU are not just educators; they are mentors, guides, and champions of academic excellence. Their dedication to student success is evident in their unwavering support, personalized attention, and innovative teaching methods. Whether in the classroom, the lab, or during one-on-one consultations, they go above and beyond to ensure every student reaches their fullest potential.
The campus itself is a vibrant hub of activity, buzzing with energy and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Overall, NSU is a great university but more importantly a great home!

At Nova Southeastern University you can expect to see a very diverse student population. With that being said, I encountered a lot of different people from around the world with various perspectives. That had to be my favorite aspect of Nova while attending as an undergraduate student. Nova offers a stellar campus life, and is strategically placed in an area that offers a lot for students off campus. There’s shopping plazas, restaurants, and other extracurricular activities that’s provided outside of campus. As of right now, I wouldn’t change anything about Nova Southeastern University.
