My experience at Monroe College has been incredible. I’ve had the privilege of learning from some outstanding professors, although not all of them were exceptional, which is to be expected. As a former Monroe College softball player, I’ve enjoyed fantastic opportunities within the softball community and have built strong connections with my teammates. The school’s environment is quite diverse, with a significant Hispanic presence at the Bronx campus. Additionally, being a student at Monroe College has provided me with numerous internship opportunities in various fields, helping us grow and work towards our dream jobs upon graduation.
Monroe College, nestled in the heart of New Rochelle, is a beacon for aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals. Its culinary program shines as a testament to innovation and excellence, attracting students from across the globe. Additionally, the vibrant student life offers a plethora of opportunities for personal and professional growth. However, amidst the culinary delights and bustling campus activities, there's a shadow cast by the subpar condition of the dormitories.
Let's start with the highlights. Monroe College's culinary program is nothing short of exceptional. Under the guidance of seasoned chefs and industry experts, students are nurtured and challenged to unleash their culinary creativity. The dorm however are not the best kept and considering the price it is way too small for the needs of 3 people in each single room. Despite all this I still enjoy my time here.
