Butler University has been an incredible experience for me overall. Good Greek life and very inclusive everywhere on campus. Everyone is friendly, and the warm atmosphere makes it even more inviting. There are a lot of great professors and people, students and faculty alike, who all genuinely care about your success and provide motivation to be your best. The drive that the school and other students instill in me pushes me to strive for excellence every day.
One of my favorite things about Butler is the unmatched basketball atmosphere; the energy during games is absolutely electric and brings the entire community together. While I do wish there was some more diversity, I still appreciate the welcoming environment and the strong sense of community. Overall, my experience at Butler has been incredibly positive and enriching, and I'm grateful for the opportunities and support I've found here.

Overall I have had a great experience so far at Butler University. Like anywhere, it takes time to acclimate but once you do that and find "your people" you are golden. If you are looking for a large party all the time college life, Butler is NOT the place for you. I chose Butler because of the smaller size, which appealed more to me. Class sizes are no more than 35 per class which makes it so easy to have a more personal or one-on-one relationship with professors should that appeal to you. Butler also has a very low key Greek life it that is of interest to you as well. Rushing is super easy and fun! I am in a sorority and loving every minute of it. Go Dawgs!
Butler is an overall nice school, but the costs are what really drives people away. I had the option to go to either Butler or Purdue for pharmacy but opted for Butler as I could drive there. As a commuter student, it was REALLY hard to make friends as I would leave right away after my classes were over (I live an hour away from campus). It wasn't until I got into the actual professional pharmacy program where I really started to make friends. That's my experience; I can't say the same for others.
