Niche Releases 2018 K-12 School & District Rankings

August 7, 2017–PITTSBURGH–Ahead of the upcoming school year, Niche has just released its 2018 K-12 School & District Rankings. This release includes new rankings and Niche Grades for all types of K-12 schools nationwide, including charter, magnet, and online schools. 17,867 public high schools, 3,497 private high schools, 64,094 public K-8 schools, and 10,574 school districts were analyzed to create these rankings.

Niche’s annual K-12 rankings combine rigorous analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Education for factors like academics, teachers, culture & diversity and more with millions of reviews from students and parents about their local schools.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Niche has released K-12 rankings. In addition to updated data and reviews, a variety of filters and sorts has been added to our rankings so families can search by more locations and drill down to find the right school for their child.
