2022-23: Zach Werenski

Ahead of the 2022-23 season, Zach Werenski purchased a suite at Nationwide Arena and selected special groups throughout the season to enjoy a memorable night of Blue Jackets hockey. Werenski's generosity has been extended to kids battling life-threatening illnesses, military members and their families, first responders, young people from underserved communities as well as youth hockey players. In December, Werenski gifted $50,000 to The Salvation Army of Central Ohio in support of their Toy Drive and Christmas Cheer program. This gift provided toys and food for local children and families during the holiday season.

2021-22: Jack Roslovic

The Columbus native established Rosie's Gears for Goals in 2020 to give back to the community that helped him get to where he is today. The mission of the foundation is to support aspiring Central Ohio hockey players by equipping them with the gear they'll need to succeed, while also building a strong community around the sport to help players see through their goals on and off the ice.

2020-21: Cam Atkinson

The Atkinson family created the Force Network Fund (FNF), a patriotic tribute to the spirit of those who serve and protect our nation daily. He also invested in youth hockey development in central Ohio through The Battery Hockey Academy, a skills academy. In December 2000, Cam and his wife, Natalie, adopted four local families who had loved ones preparing to leave for development over the holidays, purchasing gifts for the families and recording personal messages. In addition, Atkinson organized a virtual Force Network Fund 5K race in June 2020 and raised $40,313 to benefit the local OhioHealth Foundation. The funds supported the hospital to procure a rapid-response COVID-19 testing device.

2019-20: Boone Jenner

Throughout the 2019-20 season, Boone Jenner teamed up with Seth Jones to provide a unique and exclusive game night experience to Nationwide Children's Hospital families. Jenner is additionally the spokesman for the club's bike helmet safety program in partnership with Nationwide Children's Hospital and has donated his time to numerous CBJ Foundation initiatives including visiting patients at the hospital during the holidays. In his hometown of Dorchester, Ontario, Jenner has also given back to the community by hosting free hockey camps for children during the summer.

2018-19: Nick Foligno

Nick hosts numerous meet-and-greets at Nationwide Arena with kids and families in need of distraction from challenging circumstances. On the ice, Nick's goal production correlates with a donation to the Janis Foligno Foundation thanks to the Papa John's Foligno 500 for which $500 is pledged for every goal Nick scores. Away from the rink, Nick and his family also participated in the Central Ohio Congenital Heart Walk and the JDRF One Walk in support of Team Emilia (Kekalainen). In his adopted hometown of Sudbury, Ontario, Nick serves as honorary chair of NEO Kids Foundation, Northeastern Ontario's hub for specialized children's care located at Health Sciences North in Greater Sudbury.

2017-18: Sergei Bobrovsky

During the course of the 2017-18 season, Sergei and his wife, Olga, treated approximately 1,000 children and families to a suite night experience as part of Bob's Battalion. Their guests enjoyed Blue Jackets games, concerts and special events in a catered suite and each went home with a Bob's Battalion keepsake. The suite was also equipped with a set of "Bob's" goalie equipment that offered kids a try-on station and photo opportunity.

2016-17: Nick Foligno

Nick and his wife, Janelle, committed $1 million to Nationwide Children's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital in support of pediatric congenital heart care in honor of their daughter, Milana. The $500,000 gift to Nationwide Children's Hospital was directed to the Center for Cardiovascular Research, which houses the Foligno Family Cardiovascular Research Lab. The $500,000 gift to Boston Children's Hospital established funds to support surgical and fetal cardiac research.

2015-16: David Clarkson

During the 2015-16 season, Clarkson invested nearly $200,000 for kids in the central Ohio community. Thanks to his "Clarky's Clubhouse" suite at Nationwide Arena, more than 550 kids, who may not otherwise have a chance to attend a hockey game, concert or special event, were treated to a memorable experience. Clarkson also actively supported causes such as the Boys & Girls Club of Columbus, Pelotonia and numerous initiatives tied to the Blue Jackets Foundation.

2014-15: Nick Foligno

During the 2014-15 season, Nick was a leader in community involvement, lending his celebrity to raise awareness and advocate for a variety of team causes including the Jackets for Jackets coat collection in partnership with the Salvation Army; Hockey Talks in promotion of youth mental health issues; and Papa John's Cookies for Kids fundraising program to benefit the Blue Jackets Foundation.
