Tickets for Saturday’s Belmont Stakes are sold out, but horse racing fans can still buy tickets.
And the good news is, the prices are coming down.
The big event is on Saturday, June 8 (6/8/2024) at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs. The first post is at 10:45 a.m., and the Belmont Stakes will begin at 6:41 p.m.
The Belmont Stakes, the final leg of horse racing’s Triple Crown, has been moved to Upstate New York for the next two years. The race’s traditional home in New York City is being torn down and rebuilt as part of a $455 million project.
The big race is run on the third day (Saturday) of a four-day festival (Thursday-Sunday) at Saratoga Race Course. Over the four days, there will be 23 stakes races with a payout of $10.1 million. The track’s capacity is 50,000.
The Belmont Stakes Day general admission grandstand tickets and four-day festival passes are sold out. However, there are resale tickets available on sites such as StubHub, VividSeats and SeatGeek.
Just last week, prices were around $80 for general admission seats. On Wednesday, prices were as low as $55. The face value of the tickets is $50.
Here’s a look at the best prices available (tickets for the clubhouse and other seated areas cost significantly more):
