Iconic 1980s group Duran Duran is coming to Central New York this fall.
Duran Duran will perform at the Turning Stone Event Center in Verona, N.Y., on Wednesday, Oct. 23. No opening act has been named for the show, which begin at 8 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Prices have not been announced, but every ticket purchased will come with a digital copy of Duran Duran’s 16th album, “Danse Macabre,” repackaged with unreleased extras.
VIP packages and an Artist Presale will be available Wednesday, July 10, at 10 a.m., and a TS Rewards Members presale will follow on Thursday, July 11, at 10 a.m.
Duran Duran is an English pop-rock/new wave band featuring singer Simon Le Bon, guitarist/bassist John Taylor, keyboardist Nick Rhodes and drummer Roger Taylor. They’ve sold more than 100 million records thanks to hits like “Hungry Like the Wolf,” “Rio,” “Girls on Film,” “The Reflex,” “A View to a Kill” and “Ordinary World.”
The Grammy-winning group was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022 and has continued to release new music after decades of performing, most recently releasing “Danse Macabre” in 2023.
The Turning Stone concert is the only stop in Upstate New York on Duran Duran’s 2024 tour dates.
