A missing mother and daughter from North Carolina have been safely located, according to the Wilmington North Carolina Police Department.
Police say Amanda Lynn Roberts, 36, and her daughter, Brenna Dawn Shoff, 2, were found on July 1 after they were last seen on June 26 near the 5000 block of Market Street, near the Sleep Inn and MainStay Suites.
The department blurred Shoff's face in a previously provided photo of the duo in the Facebook post declaring the pair had been found. In another post, Shoff's photo has been removed.

The now-blurred photo includes Roberts holding a coffee cup and smiling with Shoff beside her. The other issued photo was a solo shot of Shoff looking into the camera, wearing a Minnie Mouse shirt.
Newsweek has contacted the Wilmington Police Department for comment.
Last week, Lt. Greg Willett of the Wilmington Police Department told Newsweek that Roberts' husband, whose name was not provided, reported his wife and daughter missing last week. The trio had been living in their car, Willett said.
Roberts' husband was arrested in early June and when he was released on June 27, he returned to the spot where their car is usually parked. But Roberts, Shoff, and the car were gone.
Willett said police "don't have any evidence or indication of foul play or anything criminal." Roberts could have been carrying a hard-sided rolling suitcase with a paint splash design, a cheetah-print diaper bag, and a car seat.

Elsewhere, an Idaho man's missing 2-year-old daughter and fiancée have been found safe in Mexico over a month after authorities launched an international hunt for the fugitive father.
The girl, Seraya Aung Harmon, her father, Aaron Aung, and his fiancée Nadia Cole, were located over the weekend by the Pullman Police Department at a roadside checkpoint near Santa Ana. They were all detained by Mexican authorities and turned over to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Cole, 21, was deported back to the United States, police say.

Unger and her daughters were reported missing from their rural home in Haskell County just before 7 p.m. on June 28, according to the KBI. Investigators believed they could have been coerced to travel to Mexico to an unidentified religious rehab facility with couple Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen, who are both in their 50s.
