Kelly Osbourne Breaks Silence on 'Horrible' Ozzy Scene From Iconic Show

Kelly Osbourne has expressed regret over a scene that was filmed for her family's TV show when she was a teenager.

The Osbournes was a reality television show in the early 2000s that focused on the domestic life of Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, and his family—wife Sharon, their daughter, Kelly, and their son, Jack. The series aired on MTV after premiering on March 5, 2002, and ran for four seasons.

During Tuesday's episode of The Osbournes Podcast, which sees the four members of the family catch up on present-day events, they discussed whether Jack or Kelly Osbourne would consider having their own reality show with their young families.

When Kelly said she "definitely" would, Sharon suggested that she should do it quickly before her children "start calling you bastards and swearing at you."

"My mom is referring to this awful scene in The Osbournes where my dad is just trying to come in and be nice to me and see if I'm OK, and I end up losing my s*** and calling him a bastard for absolutely no reason," Kelly explained.

Jack cut in, asking: "No a, a f****** basta—no a f****** bastard or was it f*** off you bastard?"

"F*** off you bastard. So horrible, so horrible," Kelly responded.

"That's my baby," Ozzy added.

Newsweek reached out to a spokesperson for Kelly Osbourne via email for comment on Wednesday.

When discussing the idea of having a new reality show featuring Jack and Kelly's families, Kelly said she wouldn't want to do it forever but would take the opportunity.

"Would I want to do it forever? No, but having what we have to look back on now in retrospect," she said before her dad added, "That would be quite interesting actually, that would be quite interesting."

Jack threw around the idea of Osbournes Next Generation, which he said reminded him of Star Trek.

"Jack, your house is madness, so it's perfect TV," Kelly said.

However, her brother isn't as keen on jumping at the idea. He said he's "torn" over creating another reality show because while he can see the benefit, The Osbournes "came at a price."

Jack said the world is entirely different compared to when he and his family filmed their reality show.

"Maybe we do something on Osbourne Media House at some point...it might, it might end up making us look tame compared to my house," he said.

"[I'm] saying our—when we, when we were teenagers versus, you know when my girls are teenagers, it's going to be a very different world."

Kelly disagreed, saying she feels like "it's going to be exactly the same but worse."

"Because there's smarter and there's sneakier ways of doing things, and there's more dangerous things out there, and it is, like, terrifying," she said.

Jack added: "Yeah, there is more—kids have access to more stuff now that's for sure."
