A pet owner's lighthearted jab at her dog's unique way of sitting has left viewers online in stitches.
The owner, who goes by @zoya.ans on TikTok, joked to her followers on the platform that when life gets tough, she fondly remembers her male dog and the peculiar way in which he sits due to his short front legs. The video, which has been viewed more than 2.8 million times, captured the canine seated in his quintessential squat—with his front paws visibly much smaller than his back, resulting in a distinctively sweet look.

An overlaid text on the video read: "Sometimes when I'm sad I just remember my dog's front legs are too short for his body so he just sits like this."
Viewers were able to see the black and white dog sitting in his typically hunched position, which sees him bend his back forward slightly, to better balance his shorter front paws on the ground. He was captured aimlessly looking around what appeared to be a room in his owner's home.
More than 473,000 TikTok users have liked the post since it was shared on June 27, and 450 have, so far, left comments about the dog and his unique mode of sitting.
"My dog sits his back legs to the side like he has a skirt on," one user, @sydney_atwood, wrote. That comment has been liked over 22,000 times.
User @catluver013 wrote: "The crazy thing is he just has to lean into a [little] bit of."
The New York-based pet owner replied: "You should see how he walks. So awkward."
A third user, @miniature.mads, shared: "He's on his tiptoes."
"I laughed and his head immediately whipped to look at me please tell him sorry for me and that I think he's very cute," another, @neeenaxoxo, wrote.
User @girlwhon3rds said: "How adorable! You should get a portrait done!"
"Mine sits like that but HAS to have all four of his feet in a straight line," user @eraserheads_eye_drops wrote. "He'll literally keep adjusting until they're lined up."
