How to Get a Free Beyond Burger at Denny's on January 30

Denny's is offering free plant-based burgers in more than 1,700 locations across the U.S. and Canada on January 30, 2020.

Following the success of its Beyond Burger launch in Los Angeles locations, the restaurant chain is now extending the mouth-watering burger at participating branches.

What's more, to celebrate the milestone, Denny's is offering a free Beyond Burger with the purchase of any beverage from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, while supplies last.

Denny's is one of America's largest full-service family restaurant chains, currently operating across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Philippines, New Zealand, Honduras, the United Arab Emirates, Costa Rica, Guam, Guatemala, U.K., Aruba, El Salvador, and Indonesia.

According to a press release, Denny's was the first restaurant group within the family dining category to offer a 100 percent plant-based protein option made with Beyond Meat to its menu.

"We were thrilled to be able to answer the call from our guests to add more plant-based protein options to our menu when we launched the Beyond Burger in Los Angeles at the end of last year," says John Dillon, chief brand officer, Denny's.

"The positive response we received validated our decision to partner with Beyond Meat to introduce our guests to a plant-based option."

The newest addition to Denny's core menu, the Denny's Beyond Burger, features a 100 percent plant-based Beyond Burger patty topped with freshly sliced tomatoes and onions, crisp lettuce, pickles, American cheese and All-American sauce on a multigrain bun. The Beyond Burger is designed to look, cook and taste like a beef burger, but has more protein, less total and saturated fat and no cholesterol compared to a regular beef burger. It is also made without soy, gluten or GMOs.

Tim Smith, Beyond Meat's vice president of North America sales at Foodservice, says: "Partnering with Denny's has been a big step in increasing offerings for those looking to introduce plant-based protein into their diets or for alternative choices at their favorite restaurants.

"We're delighted to expand our partnership with the iconic diner and provide another option that offers the taste you know and love with a burger but has the nutritional and environmental benefits of plant-based protein."

Beyond Meat's portfolio of fresh and frozen plant-based proteins is sold at more than 58,000 retail and foodservice outlets in more than 50 countries worldwide. Dunkin' Donuts recently announced it was to offer a Beyond D-O-Double G Sandwich in January 2020 in a collaboration with rap star, Snoop Dogg.

Correction 1/28/2020: This article was corrected to state that Dunkin' Donuts offers a Beyond Meat D-O-Double G Sandwich, not a Beyond Meat Burger.
