Travis Kelce Ranks How Happy He Is Amid Relationship With Taylor Swift

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Travis Kelce is "so fortunate and so grateful" for his life at the moment, especially since Taylor Swift entered it. He made this clear in a recent interview.

During an interview with Good Morning America on Thursday, June 6, Will Reeve asked, "On a scale of 1 to 10, how good is Travis Kelce's life these days?" Kelce enthusiastically responded, "20? 100? Man, I'm so fortunate and so grateful for everything that's come my way in life."

Kelce also discussed his Super Bowl win in February, his foray into acting, and his deep appreciation for his friends and family.

"I feel like I'm on top of the mountain after winning the Super Bowl and having the offseason that I'm having... Living the dream baby," he shared.

During his offseason, the NFL star spent considerable time with Swift, traveling to her Eras Tour destinations such as Australia and Singapore. Recently, he attended her Paris show, followed by a romantic getaway to Lake Como during a brief break in her European tour.

Though Swift wasn't mentioned by name, Reeve inquired about Kelce's "well-talked-about personal life" and how he stays true to himself.

"When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier. I've always been a very grounded guy," the tight end explained. "It might not come off like that when I'm playing football, but off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to get too far down the road because you just never know what opportunities are going to present themselves."

Speaking of opportunities, Kelce also talked about his acting debut, with his role announced last month in Ryan Murphy's FX series Grotesquerie. He described the challenges he faced and how his football experience helped him adapt.

"It's a challenge. I feel like an amateur right now, but I'm coachable. That's one thing I know from being in sports, I am a coachable guy," Kelce said.

Swift and Kelce went public with their relationship in October 2023, after she attended a Kansas City Chiefs game in September.
