The golden retriever named Wally appeared visibly upset in a social media video after learning that his owners would soon be going on vacation without him. The clip, posted to TikTok by his owner under @wally.meets.world on July 8, captured the pet moping and clinging to his owner's lap as they repeatedly reassured him that he would be OK during their absence while staying at his grandmother's house.

Viewers could see and hear Wally's owner trying to comfort the distressed dog by saying, "You're gonna have fun at grandma's," and adding, "We come home Friday."

Despite these attempts, Wally burrowed his head into the couch and avoided eye contact with his owner, even while being stroked and spoken to.

The video concluded with his owner counting down the days until they reunite once more, saying, "You only have to sleep there for five sleeps."
