What's better than one multi-million dollar dream home? For Wisconsin native Kathy, the answer is two!

After finding their $5 million dollar dream lake house in Wisconsin, siblings Kathy and Peg enlisted the help of designer and TV personality David Bromstad to find her a vacation home in Naples.

The new episode of "My Lottery Dream Home" called "The Gold Lady of Naples" aired on June 7, 2024 on HGTV. Here's what to know if you missed the episode.

What is My Lottery Dream Home?

"My Lottery Dream Home" is an HGTV show where host David Bromstad takes recent lottery winners on tours of potential homes. Some winners are seeking humble abodes while others are looking for over-the-top vacation spots.

The show has been on the air since 2015 and is currently airing its 16th season.

Who is The Gold Lady of Naples?

Kathy was originally on Season 16 epsiode one of "My Lottery Dream" Home where she bought a $5 million dollar home in Madison, Wisconsin. She returned to the show to look for a vacation home in Naples.

Kathy was interested in spacious homes with three to four bedrooms, pools, outdoor living spaces, golfing opportunities, and space for a boat on the water. Her budget was $2.2 to $2.4 million.

What did My Lottery Dream Home say about Naples?

During the 21 minute episode, Bromstad refers to Naples in some pretty unique phrases. Here's the list.

How much was Kathy's dream home in Naples?

  1. Windstar Way

  3. Capuano Cape
    • 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2,100 square feet
    • $2,335,000

In the end, Kathy chooses $2.25 million dollar Portrush Place as her dream vacation home.

Bromstad enlisted the help of local realtor Jim Calvert to find the three potential dream homes for Kathy.

Calvert is a third-generation real estate agent and helped launch Safe Harbor Real Estate. Safe Harbor not only monitors homes for rent and for sale, but also offers home watch and concierge services.

"David is the real deal," Calvert told Naples Daily News. "His personality on and off camera is infectious and it’s pretty clear why the show has such a following. The producers and the crew were amazing to work with."

Has SWFL been featured on "My Dream Lottery Home" before?

"The Gold Lady of Naples" is not SWFL's first feature on "My Lottery Dream Home."

Last year, Cape Coral was featured on the show. Local restaurants and homes were showcased on the HGTV show in Season 14 episode three, "The Wizard of Cape Coral."
