Daytona Beach man inappropriately touched girls in apartment's pool

A Daytona Beach man molested three juveniles in an apartment complex's pool on Sunday touching them inappropriately, police said.

Volusia County Branch Jail records show Kevin Sellars, 57, was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of a person 12 years old but younger than 16, lewd and lascivious conduct by a person older than 18, resisting an officer without violence and violation of probation for house arrest. He was in jail without bail on Monday.

Daytona Beach police were called to the Andros Isle Apartments at 100 Acklins Circle shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday where witnesses reported that the children said Sellars was making inappropriate comments about them, a report states.

Sellars was found at his apartment and arrested.
