We welcome letters from readers on matters of public interest. They must be original, local and written exclusively for The News-Journal.
- Anonymous letters and pseudonyms are not allowed.
- Letters require the writer’s full name, home town, address and a phone number where they can be reached. Those that do not include that information will not be considered.
- Letters may be edited for length and clarity.
- One letter per writer can be published every 30 days.
- In general, we don’t publish letters that are potentially libelous, are in poor taste or contain profanity, contain personal attacks or name-calling.
