    Joe Rogan Returns to Stand-Up in His First Live Comedy Special, Burn the Boats

    After six years seated behind another kind of mic, Rogan returns to form.

Though most people know him as the host of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Fear Factor, and a commentator for the UFC, Joe Rogan’s roots are in stand-up. A stand-up comedian with more than 30 years of experience, the multi-hyphenate comedian returns to Netflix for his first comedy special in six years, Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats, and will be the first to be taped live at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio. Rogan has six hour-long specials to his name, including Joe Rogan: Strange Times and Joe Rogan: Triggered.

Once described in The Guardian as “an idealistic hippy stuck inside the body of a testosterone-pumped US marine,” the influential comedian and podcaster will be the latest in a heavy-hitting lineup of live Netflix comedy specials that includes Chris Rock: Selective Outrage and Netflix is a Joke Festival (2024) live shows The Roast of Tom Brady, Katt Williams: Woke Foke and John Mulaney Presents: Everybody's in LA
