What we Do Youth Leaders

Our Strategy

NCD Child’s strategy is based on one fundamental principle:

Young people must be appropriately and meaningfully engaged throughout all aspects of planning, programming and evaluation of NCD Child’s work.

Our work is guided by four strategic pillars:

Youth Leadership

Identify, build capacity, and provide professional development to youth advocates to ensure their meaningful and sustained engagement in global, regional, and national NCD spheres.

Evidence & Policy

Contribute to, and develop evidence-based resources related to NCD prevention and control in children, adolescents, and young people.

Thought Leader

Strengthen NCD Child’s position as a credible thought leader in the global NCD space by providing expertise in child and adolescent health policy development and implementation.

Organizational Strengthening

Build internal capacity and strengthen the infrastructure and governance of NCD Child in order to maximize impact and efficiency in all operations.

Participation in Global Advocacy
