A 75-year-old bicyclist was injured in a collision with a motorcycle on Route 156 in Old Lyme Wednesday evening and was flown for treatment of what state police said was a minor head injury.
The crash happened on Shore Road, by Ferry Road, just before 6:30 p.m.
State police said a bicyclist was in the shoulder of Shore Road, drifted into the southbound lane and was struck by the motorcycle.
The bicyclist, a 75-year-old Higganum man, flipped over his handlebars and landed in the northbound lane, state police said.

The motorcyclist, a 58-year-old Wethersfield man, lost control when he swerved to try and avoid the crash and fell off his motorcycle, state police said.
The bicyclist suffered a minor head injury and Life Star flew him to Yale New Haven Hospital as a precaution, state police said.
The motorcyclist had minor arm abrasions and was brought by ambulance to Middlesex Hospital Shoreline, state police said.
