A 78-year-old Salem man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Old Lyme on Tuesday evening.
State police said Edward Lazarin was heading west on Route 156, approaching the Mile Creek Road intersection just after 4 p.m., when he went off the road and his Harley-Davidson rolled over and landed on the front lawn of a church.
Lazarin was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was taken to the Shoreline Clinic in Westbrook, where he later died, state police said.
